“Offering the best possible packaging for portioned food is at the core of our corporate strategy. That is why we develop all products and packaging according to requirements for their intended use. We always ensure that the quantity and thickness of the packaging material is optimally adjusted.

In this way, we ensure effective protection of the respective food and, at the same time, only use as much packaging material as is absolutely necessary. It starts with that – but the packaging material itself should also be sustainable. In the search for the optimal solution for sugar, we decided on a paper-based material from sustainable and responsible forestry. The material is 100% recyclable in the paper recycling process, ensuring that valuable raw materials are used multiple times. In general, we consider “recycling” the materials to be the best solution.

For our group of companies, the key lies in using valuable raw materials several times, conserving resources and thus significantly reducing CO2 emissions. We are therefore constantly working with partners on the development of appropriate materials for all segments of our portfolio.”

Special attention we pay to the goals that are most related to our business, in our direct influence and strive for a good balance between people, planet and profit.
